Export your NinjaTrader trade history
Control Center › New › Trade Performance › Trades › Export
New in Hammer. We built this import from NinjaTrader's documented export format and haven't seen a real file yet. Check a few trades against NinjaTrader after importing — and if something's off, the Feedback button reaches us directly.
Steps
- In NinjaTrader, open New › Trade Performance from the Control Center.
- Pick the account and dates, then click Generate.
- Open the Trades tab, right-click the grid and choose Export, then save as CSV.
What's in the file
One row per trade: instrument, market position (long or short), quantity, entry and exit price and time, profit and commission.
What Hammer does with it
- Each row becomes a futures trade with NinjaTrader's profit as the P&L; the contract month is dropped (ES 03-26 becomes ES).
Good to know
- Export the Trades tab, not Executions — Hammer reads the finished trades.
Import it
- On the web: Settings › Your data › Import…, then drop the file in.
- On iPhone, iPad or Mac: Settings › Import › Import…, then choose the file.
- Just curious? Try it with your trades — Hammer reads the file right in your browser and shows what's costing you, before you sign up.
